In 2000, I relocated from New Jersey to Southwest Florida in search of a more tropical lifestyle, leaving behind the harsh northern winters. With a background in home cleaning services, nannying, and geriatric care, I quickly recognized the need for high-quality care services for individuals living at home. My mission is to support families by providing exceptional care in the comfort of their homes or intimate private settings, rather than in healthcare facilities or nursing homes.

While working in a healthcare facility, I noticed that many respite clients preferred to stay in their homes or private settings for one-on-one care, as their needs, especially for companionship, were often unmet. I always made an effort to talk to them whenever possible.

One day, while providing home cleaning and maintenance services, a client faced a family emergency that required out-of-state travel. As the primary caretaker for their parents, they asked for my help. Being an empty nester and widower, I easily transitioned into a short-term live-in caregiver role.

Since then, I have been working by referral, providing care in homes or private settings for families who prefer not to have care in healthcare facilities. I also work as a travel nurse for clients who wish to take their loved ones with them but need some respite time for themselves.
